Corporate Trade press release

CAE announces the nomination of Keyvan Fard as Executive Vice President, Business Development and OEM Alliances. In addition, in line with CAE's strategy to expand in the helicopter market, Mr. Fard will assume the position of President of CAE Helicopter Solutions. Mr. Fard becomes a member of CAE's Executive Committee and reports directly to Marc Parent, President and CEO.

This new position is created to expand and generate new and lasting original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships and business alliances across the civil and military segments. Mr. Fard will also lead the business development for selected long-term strategic initiatives such as helicopter training solutions and CAE's Augmented Engineering Environment, a modelling and simulation environment that allows original equipment manufacturers to evaluate, test, and validate a range of aircraft models and systems during the development phase.

"We are proud to welcome a strong key player like Keyvan to our team," said Marc Parent. "His extensive experience in the aerospace industry will bring a lot of value to CAE. I am sure he will help us leverage our existing network of relationships and expand its scope, as well as pursue new OEM alliances".

Mr. Fard brings with him a very successful history in the aerospace industry. He worked at Pratt & Whitney Canada for 30 years, where he assumed positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, customer support and marketing organization. In 2007, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing and was responsible for the commercial, business, helicopter and military segments for aircraft OEM and operators.
