Students are an integral part of our teams. Our interns are called upon to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment by working on concrete projects, enabling them to develop their technical skills and gain experience in a professional environment. The level of complexity of the mandate offered is adapted to the students’ abilities. Students are also accompanied by a mentor throughout their internship who provides support and coaching to help them succeed.

Our student jobs are designed for candidates in the process of obtaining an academic degree. We invite newly graduated candidates to apply for our permanent positions.

Of course! Our student jobs are open to student candidates in the process of obtaining an academic degree, with no obligation for this experience to be recognized as an official internship.

Yes, our internships are paid jobs. Remuneration is based on level and field of study, as well as the number of years or credits completed.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to discuss your career intentions with your immediate supervisor. Depending on the needs of the team and your situation, you may be offered an extension of your current mandate or be put in touch with other teams within CAE to help you explore other fields or opportunities at CAE. Many students have gone on to permanent employment at CAE after completing their studies.

Work weeks are 40 hours from Monday to Friday. At CAE, working hours are flexible to allow employees to balance their work and personal life easily. Depending on the nature of your work, you may have to make yourself available at specific times of the week. This will be discussed in advance with your immediate supervisor.

If you have submitted your application via our career site, you will receive an email confirming your application. All applications received via our various portals will be reviewed by the hiring team and candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by our systems or through their school's portal, depending on the method of application.

We offer internship opportunities throughout the year in line with university recruitment schedules. Our job offers are therefore generally posted 4 months before the start of the internship. Join our Talent Community and set up a job alert to be notified when a new position is posted.

We will contact selected candidates to arrange an interview. Typically, this is a 45-minute video meeting where the hiring team will introduce you to the position and discuss your job-related skills, as well as your interests and understanding of the role. This is a good time to ask any questions you may have about the mandate and the working environment. We will contact all candidates who have been interviewed to inform them of the recruitment team's decision.

Yes, you can apply for a student position even if it is not in your country of residence. However, you need to be legally authorized to work in that location. Additionally, we will conduct a background check, which may take some time, depending on the region. Please refer to the job description for more details.
