Michel Azar-Hmouda

As Division President, Civil - Commercial Aviation, Michel Azar-Hmouda is based in Dallas, Texas, USA and leads our Commercial Aviation business with teams in over 60 locations around the world, overseeing the product and training portfolios, driving strategic growth, and managing the P&L. With customer centricity at the forefront, his teams are dedicated to supporting commercial airlines worldwide, ensuring exceptional training and operational excellence.

Mr. Azar-Hmouda’s journey with CAE began over 25 years ago when he joined the Montreal team as a Flight Simulator Engineer supporting the manufacturing and service of full flight simulators. Since then, he held various regional and global roles ‒ across five different CAE locations ‒ demonstrating a strong commitment to client intimacy, employee engagement, and growth strategy. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in launching new training centres, enhancing training quality, and fostering long-term customer relationships.

Mr. Azar-Hmouda holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, USA.
