Careers at CAE USA
CAE USA is the largest segment of CAE’s Defense and Security business unit, focusing on helping our defense and security customers develop and maintain the highest levels of mission readiness.
CAE’s Binghamton location is deeply rooted in aviation history. Initially founded in 1929 by Edwin Link, who is often credited as the ‘father of simulation,” the company became a leading provider of training systems.
Edwin Link invented and commercialized a flight simulator he called the “Blue Box”, also known as the “Link Trainer” and "Pilot Trainer”. A pioneering precursor to the high-fidelity full-flight simulators CAE produces today, the original trainer was created out of a requirement to teach new military aviators how to fly by instruments. The “Blue Box” ultimately helped train over 500,000 allied pilots during World War II (WWII) and became designated as a Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
CAE Binghamton’s facility today provides highly advanced modeling, training, and simulation equipment, supporting warfighter training and helping them prepare for the moments that matter.
CAE Binghamton is a family oriented, dynamic and professional environment where, as an employee you are a member of the Link family. Our team cares not only about their work mandates but are also connected to our customers, the community and each other.
