About South Korea

Seoul is the capital and largest city in South Korea and is home to a large population of over 650,000 international residents. It is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the world with a rich history stretching back over 2,000 years.

The city has a humid continental climate, bordering on humid subtropical, where summers are hot and humid with several months of rain, while winters are cold but generally much drier.

There are many activities available in Seoul year-round, 24 hours a day. The area is home to over 115 museums and a variety of parks and outdoor spaces. With no shortage of nightlife options, there are a myriad of bars and restaurants in the different areas of Seoul, each offering its own particular flavour.
