Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
Offering a range of degree and double degree programs designed to take students with little or no flying experience and equip them with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to operate a multi-crew jet aircraft. CAE trains pilots to the highest standards, and our graduates hold positions in major airlines within Australia and around the world. To obtain an Integrated Commercial Pilot Licence, students undertake commercial flying training at CAE Melbourne, located at Moorabbin Airport. Elective flying qualifications are then available to students with options to learn to operate a Multi-Crew Jet aircraft or for those with teaching inclinations, delivering training to aspiring pilots as a qualified Flight Instructor.
Students will undertake their flight lessons whilst concurrently study the theory units required by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) up to and including the Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) standard, as well as aviation studies in human factors, aviation management and technology.
