Aviation Civile Entreprise Communiqué pour la presse spécialisée

CAE today announced at the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) that two of its simulators, the Dassault Falcon 7X and the Dassault Falcon 2000 EASy, located at the CAE London  training centre in Burgess Hill, UK, have received Level D qualification by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the new EASy II avionics package.

These new programs, part of a Dassault Authorized Training Provider agreement, allow CAE to be the first training provider to deliver training with the latest EASy II avionics for the 7X and 2000 EASy series.

"We are pleased that our long-time partner Dassault continues to trust CAE's training solutions to support Dassault pilot training programs," said Rob Lewis, CAE's Vice President and General Manager, Business Aviation, Helicopter and Maintenance Training. "We will continue to offer cost-effective and industry-leading solutions to address the specific training needs of our customers."

CAE became the first training provider for the Falcon 7X in 2007. CAE was also the first in the industry to provide EASA- and FAA-approved simulator training for the new Dassault EASy II cockpit on the Falcon 900 EASy series.

CAE currently provides training for all in-production Falcon aircraft, including the Falcon 7X, the Falcon 900 EASy series  and the  Falcon 2000 EASy series, as well as some earlier models such as the Falcon 10/100, Falcon 900 and Falcon 50/50EX. CAE Dassault Falcon training programs are available in Dubai, UAE; London, UK; Dallas and New York, USA, and are qualified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory authorities.

In January 2013, Dassault Aviation awarded CAE with a Falcon Training Policy Manual (FTPM) certificate, which validates that CAE is delivering superior quality training services for Falcon pilots and maintenance personnel. The FTPM is the highest level attainable by a Dassault Authorized Training Provider (DATP).
