CAE and Cebu Pacific joint venture, Philippine Academy for Aviation Training (PAAT), to deploy new Airbus A320NEO full-flight simulator in the Philippines

The CAE-Cebu Pacific joint venture, Philippine Academy for Aviation Training (PAAT), announced today the expansion of its training capacity with the acquisition of a new Airbus A320NEO full-flight simulator. The CAE7000XR Series FFS, equipped with the CAE Tropos™ 6000XR visual system for unprecedented realism, will serve the growing pilot training needs of Cebu Pacific as well as other operators in the region. The new simulator will be deployed at the CAE Clark – PAAT training centre, near Manila, in the first half of 2019.

Cebu Pacific and CAE inaugurated the PAAT joint venture in 2012. The training centre, located in Clark, Philippines, offers Airbus A320 pilot training to Cebu Pacific Air and other operators in the region. With this deployment, CAE Clark – PAAT will now have a total of three Airbus A320 simulators.
